Up to this point, I can't recommend anything without a cable in between the two earpieces. I just ordered the Xiaomi AirDots to see if they are an exception and actually deliver good value for their price.

With cable in between the earpieces, I recommend looking at the Meizu EP52 (fairly detailed sound) or the even more affordable Bluedio TE (less detailed, though a nice and full sound).
