Hi Sandy, I don't know about the mic cancelling. I'm careful by just following technical terms for Chinese products. A product with an 'IPX5 waterproof' title may be better than a 'IPX7 protection'. Same goes for the 'Hifi Audio Quality' sticker. It's just marketing, is all. Often products differ in spec sheets, but don't turn out to be different. So… I can't really tell you about a CVC version.

Pricewise and sound quality wise I do recommend the QCY QS1/ T1C. The tonality, detail and bass are all excellent — better than the Mpow.
