Hi! I currently have a deal with a Dutch online headphone shop of which I can test well known brands headphones, so I'm discovering this in the 100–250 dollar segment. I'm not really convinced of the sound quality active noise cancelling headphones deliver for this price, so far.

For earphones up to 100 dollar I can say that the listed Chinese earphones are ALWAYS good for their money. They just have a better price quality ratio than affordable Sony, Sennheiser, JBL, Beats and Philips earphones — for example. Cheap earphones from Western brands are almost always less detailed and sound mostly unpronounced or just bass centric.
