Hi Georg,

I understand your response, as I'm myself am very opposed to simulated surround effects, too. However — I find the difference between the Nubwo and G2000 and other headsets, also a few with 7.1 simulations, to be quite big. I generally heard more background detail on the N11, providing me with a better sense of what environments I'm in. For instance in Hellblade, a game wherein the main character is surrounded by voices in her head, the voices have much more directional sense than the other headsets tested — almost as much as the brilliant open back Philips SHP9500. I really find this effect of added value in singleplayer games.

With its emphasized upper-mid tones and highs, the G2000 may offer an advantage in online games, as things like light footsteps and movement in sand sound louder than on the Nubwoo. When the action really gets going, however, I find the G2000 sound harsher — sometimes even too sharp — and prefer the N11 anytime.

Rest assured; I wouldn't look at the number of buyers on Ali that much. If that was an indicator of quality, $10 AirPods knock-offs would be the best cheap wireless earphones you could get. It couldn't be further from the truth. :-)
